Note that you will need to rerun you database upgrade after thsese
changes. Some a new table and some new columns have been added to
support remote polling and if you don't make these database changes,
your Cacti system may stop operating.
It will then fall back to the local one if it can't connect. I really
think I want to change how remote pollers work. I would rather use the
local DB, and then have it push rrd changes to the master server for
processing.
We now catch and log all PHP Errors. If a FATAL PARSE / COMPILE error
is detected in a plugin, we will automatically disable that plugin so
that Cacti does not stop working.
for testers, make sure that you not only add the poller_resource_cache
table, but alter the structure of the host table, or you system will
stop working. this is the first of several commit's. taking it in
stages.
- Merging automation Phase I which only includes the Autom8 plugin.
Phase II will included an enhanced discovery plugin.
- Also reworked the cacti_log function to specify a level in order to
streamline code
- Converted poller functions to still include Poller[xx], but all others
will not
- More conversion of double to single quotes
