browniebraun e2e6554cd0 a few fixes to GUI and light/darf mode switching ...

- smooth transition between light and dark mode added
- midwinter keeps both settings in local storage and initiates their values if available.
- change default to "legacy  + light".
- usage of document data attributes instead of classes.

-TODO:
- migrate colors to HSL,
- build light theme,
- force usage of Ajax anchors everywhere
- update menu visibility function: new UI should only hide the navigation menu in full-screen mode.
