Aleksei Sviridkin 32c4d60b43 fix(kubernetes): run the Talos reconcile Job in the main install phase
The talos-reconcile Job is the only thing that creates the
TalosConfigTemplate the worker MachineDeployment's bootstrap.configRef
points to; CAPI blocks MachineSet creation until it exists, so tenant
workers cannot scale until the Job has run.

The Job was a post-install/post-upgrade Helm hook, which runs only after
Helm has applied the release's main resources and, when Helm waits, after
they become Ready. But the same release emits in-tenant addon HelmReleases
— notably cilium — whose readiness needs worker nodes, and those nodes
need the TalosConfigTemplate this Job produces. So when the main-resource
wait is in effect the install deadlocks: it waits for cilium to be Ready,
cilium waits for workers, the workers wait for the template, and the
template waits for this hook — which never runs because the install never
finishes the wait that precedes the hook phase. The install times out and
the MachineDeployment never scales. The release sets
helm-install-disable-wait to skip that wait, but its effect is unreliable,
which makes the failure bimodal: the template lands in ~46s when the wait
is skipped, and the install is stranded when it is not.

Render the Job and its RBAC/ServiceAccount/egress policy as ordinary
main-phase resources. The Job is then created during the apply itself, not
after the wait, and runs on the management cluster where nodes exist
(unlike the tenant cilium-operator), so it produces the template, the
MachineDeployment scales, workers join, cilium goes Ready, and the wait
(if any) closes within the install budget — independent of whether
helm-install-disable-wait takes effect.

The Job is immutable, so it carries a content-hash name suffix over its
rendered spec (mirrors the KubevirtMachineTemplate idiom in cluster.yaml):
an identical render keeps the name and Helm no-ops it, while any spec
change yields a new name and a fresh Job, so no spec change ever lands on
the same name and triggers an immutable-field patch error. The applied
TalosConfigTemplate keeps its stable <release>-<group> name, so an
unchanged render re-applies a byte-identical template — a CAPI no-op that
never rolls existing workers.

Myasnikov DaniilandClaude Opus 4.8 b5cc2ae120 fix(kubernetes): address review findings on Talos worker bootstrap
- talos-reconcile-job: emit a `---` separator inside the nodeGroups
range so a tenant with multiple node groups renders valid
multi-document YAML instead of two Jobs concatenated into one doc
- talos-reconcile + bootstrap-token jobs: add a restricted
securityContext (drop ALL caps, no privilege escalation, read-only
root fs) and CPU/memory requests+limits; drop the unused management
SA token mount on the bootstrap-token job, which only talks to the
tenant apiserver via the mounted admin kubeconfig
- migration 44: list Helm-managed resources by the
  app.kubernetes.io/managed-by=Helm label, not meta.helm.sh/release-name
(an annotation, so it never matched as a --selector — the keep
  annotation was silently never applied)
- cluster.yaml: fail fast on a malformed nodeHealthCheck.maxUnhealthy
rather than silently coercing it to 0 via `| int`
- config: make helm-install-disable-wait parsing genuinely
case-insensitive (EqualFold + trim) to match its documented contract
- capi-providers bootstrap/cpprovider Makefiles: guard the
patches/*.diff loop against an empty glob

IvanHuntersandMyasnikov Daniil ef4be2563e feat(api): add release.cozystack.io/helm-install-disable-wait annotation
Parse a new release.cozystack.io/helm-install-disable-wait annotation in start.go and apply it as Install/Upgrade.DisableWait in rest.go, so helm-controller no longer blocks post-install hooks on in-tenant addon readiness. This breaks the reconcile-hook chicken-and-egg where the hook that creates the worker TalosConfigTemplate was gated behind addons that need workers to schedule. Covered by a config table test.

Myasnikov Daniil d405cdc16f feat(api): add helm-upgrade-timeout annotation for asymmetric budgets
release.cozystack.io/helm-install-timeout sets both Install.Timeout and
Upgrade.Timeout to one value. Add release.cozystack.io/helm-upgrade-timeout
so an ApplicationDefinition can override only Upgrade.Timeout — letting a
kind keep a short install budget but a longer upgrade budget (or vice
versa). When set it wins over the value the install annotation would
otherwise apply to the upgrade side.

- config: add HelmUpgradeTimeoutAnnotation + ReleaseConfig.HelmUpgradeTimeout;
  generalize ParseHelmInstallTimeoutAnnotation to ParseHelmTimeoutAnnotation
since it now parses both annotations (identical Flux unit validation).
- server: parse the new annotation at startup with the same loud-fail
  behavior; update --helmrelease-upgrade-timeout help.
- rest: apply HelmUpgradeTimeout after the install-annotation copy so the
upgrade-specific value wins; restore the accurate carrier comment.
- tests: cover the upgrade-only override, the asymmetric precedence, and
  the install-sets-both regression guard.

Behavior is unchanged for every existing ApplicationDefinition (none set
the new annotation today).

Myasnikov Daniil da3c54b78f test(config): assert ParsePositiveDuration error branch in table
The ParsePositiveDuration table exercised all error inputs but did not
distinguish which branch fired. Add an errMatch field so the table
pins "must be > 0" for zero/negative and "invalid duration" for
malformed/empty inputs, mirroring TestParseHelmInstallTimeoutAnnotation
and keeping the two parsers' diagnostics from drifting.

Myasnikov Daniil e1677f17c0 fix(config): preserve HelmReleaseMaxHistory=0 across YAML marshal
HelmReleaseMaxHistory carried omitempty, so a value of 0 (which Helm
treats as "unlimited") would be dropped on marshal and become
indistinguishable from an unset field. The runtime path (start.go
always populates it from --helmrelease-max-history) is safe today, but
drop omitempty so the explicit "unlimited" intent survives if
ReleaseConfig is ever serialized.

Myasnikov Daniil fad709b0c1 refactor(config): lift ParsePositiveDuration and extend ReleaseConfig
Lift parsePositiveDuration from cmd/cozystack-operator/main.go into
pkg/config so cozystack-api can reuse the same startup validator
without duplication. Operator main.go now imports and delegates;
the table-driven test moves to pkg/config/config_test.go.

Extend ReleaseConfig with the five HelmRelease generation knobs
the cozystack-operator already exposes via flags (PR #2509):
HelmReleaseInterval, HelmReleaseRetryInterval,
HelmReleaseInstallTimeout, HelmReleaseUpgradeTimeout,
HelmReleaseMaxHistory. The existing per-Application
HelmInstallTimeout (set from the
release.cozystack.io/helm-install-timeout annotation) keeps its
override semantics - it still wins over the new global
Install/Upgrade timeout defaults when set.

No behaviour change in this commit; the new fields are wired up in
follow-up commits.

Aleksei Sviridkin 6072723e1e feat(config): extract + test annotation-timeout parser with Flux unit gate
Pulls the release.cozystack.io/helm-install-timeout parsing out of
start.go into ParseHelmInstallTimeoutAnnotation in pkg/config. The
helper rejects units that time.ParseDuration accepts but Flux
helm-controller rejects (ns, us, µs): feeding one of those through
would cause the HelmRelease admission webhook to reject the object at
install time, giving a silent drop to flux defaults that is hard to
debug. Fail loudly at cozystack-api startup instead.

Adds a table-driven unit test covering: unset (empty), accepted units
ms/s/m/h, compound 2h30m, decimal 1.5m, and the rejected shapes
(bare digits, garbage, negative, ns/us/µs). The test lives in
pkg/config so it runs under the existing go-unit-tests make target.

Aleksei Sviridkin 7b146cbe56 feat(api): make HelmRelease Install/Upgrade timeout per-Application
Replace the hardcoded r.kindName == "Kubernetes" switch in rest.go
with a config-driven path. The ApplicationDefinition CR now accepts a
release.cozystack.io/helm-install-timeout annotation that is parsed
at cozystack-api startup into config.ReleaseConfig.HelmInstallTimeout
and applied to both Install.Timeout and Upgrade.Timeout on the
rendered HelmRelease. Applications that leave the annotation unset
keep flux defaults so their failed installs remediate on the normal
cadence - only the Kubernetes kind carries the override and gets a
15m budget. New kinds with a similar race can opt in by setting the
same annotation; no rest.go patch needed.

Kubernetes-rd sets the annotation to 15m. Table-driven test in
rest_timeout_test.go covers three cases: Kubernetes with 15m, Qdrant
unset, and an arbitrary future kind with 20m - all of which pin the
Remediation.Retries == -1 contract as well.
