Every apps kind is registered on the one Application Go type, and the
stock Scheme.ConvertToVersion picks the first kind registered for a
type, so without help a Redis comes back from the API as whichever app
kind was registered first. So far the fix lived in a fork of
k8s.io/apimachinery that patches ConvertToVersion. Upstream has not
taken the change, and the fork has to be rebased onto every Kubernetes
minor before the libraries can move.
The apps group now encodes through a serializer that picks the kind the
object carries, along the lines upstream suggested instead of changing
Scheme. The replace directive goes, and with it the Renovate rule that
kept the fork's stale release tags from being proposed as updates. The
serializer relies on the storage stamping the kind on every object it
returns, which it does. A test drives create, get, list, update, watch,
apply and table through the real handler chain for two kinds and fails
without the serializer on upstream apimachinery.
One path converts through the Scheme rather than the serializer and
goes back to the first registered kind: the row objects of a Table
requested with includeObject=Object, which kubectl asks for only with
--sort-by. Admission webhooks and ValidatingAdmissionPolicy get the
request kind set explicitly.

Hidora's customers are leaving VMware now, and a tenant has to be able to
import their own machines without a platform administrator. The chart
approach could not express that: a tenant can neither create the Secret
holding vCenter credentials nor name the VDDK image, so both had to come
from somewhere they cannot reach.
Two CRDs in a new `forklift.cozystack.io` group, split by lifecycle. A
VMImportSource is a long-lived connection -- type, endpoint, credentials,
readiness -- and a VMImportTask is the one-shot operation that names
machines and produces VMDisks and VMInstances. The outputs carry no owner
reference back to the task, so deleting a finished import leaves the
machines alone. Konveyor Forklift does the transfer underneath; the
controller renders its objects, mirrors its verdicts, and hands each
finished volume into a VMDisk without copying it.
What a live vCenter migration forced out, and no amount of source reading
would have:
- A guest copied verbatim keeps the drivers it had under VMware and no
virtio, so on a virtio disk it does not fail the import -- it succeeds
and then does not boot. Imported disks go on SATA.
- VDDK connects straight to the ESXi host at the address vCenter
advertises, which is routinely unreachable, and on the first cluster
collided with the Service CIDR. `spec.hosts` redirects per host.
- Firmware must be carried across or a UEFI guest imports as BIOS and
never boots (stacked on #3002).
- Deleting a task mid-transfer orphaned its DataVolume; a finalizer now
removes the engine's volumes and leaves the outputs.
The console gains a Migration section: connections are editable, and the
VM field is a picker built from a machine list the controller publishes,
since the aggregated API cannot reach the inventory and should not hold a
source's credentials to try. Two general mechanisms fall out of that --
an option source may take an argument, and one named in a CRD annotation
may reference a sibling field.

Add a cluster-scoped, read-only Tap resource to the core.cozystack.io API
group that powers the dashboard marketplace view. Each Tap is computed on read
from a PackageSource and the ApplicationDefinitions attributable to it (matched
by the component's assembled-artifact name), exposing the connected repository,
whether it is a community tap, its readiness, and the packages it exposes with
their catalog metadata. It is served through the existing aggregation layer, so
the dashboard consumes it with the same list/watch client it already uses, and
authorization is the delegated RBAC the apiserver already enforces.
Taps carry catalog metadata only and never a pull-credential Secret, so
browsing cannot leak a private tap's credentials across the tenant boundary.
Read access is granted to the tenant catalog-read roles alongside options.
Modeling the marketplace as a virtual resource in an existing API group avoids
a new API group and needs no etcd or CRD: the object is computed from cluster
state via the apiserver privileged dynamic client, mirroring the options
resource.

Install the sdn.cozystack.io API group and serve the securitygroups
resource from the SecurityGroup REST storage, register the static
SecurityGroup kinds, add the group to the server codec, and register the
in-tree CiliumNetworkPolicy mirror with the client scheme.

Introduce a read-only, namespaced virtual resource
core.cozystack.io/v1alpha1 Option that serves named lists of dropdown
options for the dashboard. Each object (one per source: gpu,
instancetype, instanceprofile, network, image, storagepool,
storageclass, vmdisk, backupclass) is computed on read by an in-process
provider using a privileged dynamic client, so tenants need no direct
access to Nodes, the KubeVirt CR, cluster instancetypes, etc.
Tenants get read access via the aggregated cozy:tenant roles; the
apiserver ServiceAccount gains read on the underlying sources.

Add two features to improve application observability in the dashboard:
1. WorkloadsReady condition on Application status
- Query WorkloadMonitor resources to determine if all pods are running
- Expose WorkloadsReady as a separate condition alongside Ready
- Ready continues to reflect HelmRelease state only (no override) to
preserve backward compatibility with tooling and avoid false-negatives
during normal startup windows when pods are still coming up
- Handle three states: operational, not operational, unknown (pending)
- Fail-open on WorkloadMonitor query errors
- Integrate with Application Watch to emit MODIFIED events on
WorkloadMonitor changes (with initial-events-end safety)
- Register cozystack.io/v1alpha1 types in API server scheme
2. Events tab in dashboard
- Show Kubernetes Events scoped to application namespace
- Use status.namespace for Tenant applications
- Include both lastTimestamp and eventTime columns for K8s compat
3. Bug fix: WorkloadMonitor Operational status persistence
- Operational was written to stale 'monitor' instead of 'fresh'
inside RetryOnConflict, so it was never persisted to the cluster

## What this PR does
This patch fixes an issue with the Cozystack API server that causes it
to respond with the first registered dynamic list kind when listing
dynamic resources. E.g., when running `k get postgreses`, the raw JSON
response from the cozystack API would be
```json
{
"apiVersion":"apps.cozystack.io/v1alpha1",
"kind":"BootBoxList",
"items": [
{
"apiVersion":"apps.cozystack.io/v1alpha1",
"kind":"Postgres",
...
},
...
],
...
}
```
The root cause is the way the `Typer` interface is implemented for the
`runtime.Scheme` where the dynamic types are registered. Since the base
type for all dynamic types is a `&cozyv1alpha1.Application{}`, all types
are registered under the same key and the `Typer` defaults to the first
`GroupVersionKind` that was registered. Only when a correctly formed
`&unstructured.Unstructured{}` is returned by the API, is this resolving
logic circumvented and the `GroupVersionKind` is instead inferred from
the fields of the returned object. Even an `UnstructuredList` is not
acceptable as a return type, instead the `items` key should be directly
set on the underlying `map[string]interface{}`.
This patch implements the changes detailed above. Additionally, the
following features, fixes, and improvements are added:
* Makefile targets to build and run the Cozystack API locally, against a
Kubernetes server in the environment's KUBECONFIG. Debugging with
Delve is also supported.
* CI tests are added to verify the new changes.
* A bug in the registration of the corev1alpha1 types is fixed.
* Updated the `ConvertToTable` function to properly handle list kinds
which might be of the `&unstructured.Unstructured{}` concrete type
(not an `UnstructuredList`).
* The scheme used by the API server's Client and WatchClient is
separated from the scheme used to serve dynamic types.
* The client config for reading the runtime configuration now uses the
controller-runtime, which handles flags and environment variables
properly, unlike `clientcmd`.

This patch changes all clients in the Cozystack API server to typed
ones from the controller runtime. This should improve the performance of
the API server and simplifies the code by removing work with
unstructured objects and dynamic clients.
```release-note
improve performance. Get rid of operations on unstructured objects and
use of dynamic clients.
The Cozystack API server lists TenantNamespaces by running a
SubjectAccessReview against every single requested namespace to see if
the user can create a WorkloadMonitor there. Will this is robust in
terms of permissions, delegating the authorization decision to the k8s
API, this is incredibly inefficient and has caused high latency to the
API. This patch simplifies the logic by instead getting the user's
groups and checking if the namespace contains a rolebinding for that
group. That way listing TenantNamespaces is reduced to a list call to
the k8s API for namespaces and another list call for rolebindings across
all namespaces, while authorization is done on the Cozystack API server
instead of making further calls to the k8s API.
```release-note
[api] Optimize listing of TenantNamespaces, fixes a bug causing very
high latency to the k8s API.
