Clusters with a memory limit below 512Mi and no explicit shared_buffers get the new default on upgrade, which needs a PostgreSQL restart. The changelog described the fix but not the restart.

v1.6.0's own upgrade notes tell operators to run
hack/seaweedfs-naming-audit.sh, and the copy that shipped in v1.6.0 silences
every kubectl call with 2>/dev/null. A timeout or an RBAC denial therefore
prints an empty "all clean" table indistinguishable from a genuinely clean
fleet, and that output gates a runbook step that deletes PVCs. Anyone
following those notes today can still get a false clean.
Verified per tag: v1.6.0 has 11 blanket redirections and no run_kubectl
wrapper; v1.6.1, v1.6.2 and v1.5.4 have 4 and 18 respectively, the
fail-closed shape from #3436 and its backport #3474.
Published changelogs are historical records and are not normally edited.
This one is an exception on purpose, because the instruction it carries is
still live and still wrong.

The generated changelog is a good inventory but carries no operator-facing
layer: no required-actions section, no runnable pre-upgrade checks, and the
SeaweedFS 4.31 rename left as three isolated fix bullets that never say what
to do about it. Every generated bullet is preserved; this adds to them.
Widen the base to v1.5.2. v1.5.3 was tagged but its release was never
published and its changelog PR was closed unmerged, so docs/changelogs/
v1.5.3.md exists on no ref and a v1.5.3 base leaves #3212 (persistent
EFI/TPM state) and #3194 (filer postgres2 connection pool) documented
nowhere at all. Coverage is now 82/82 commits in range.
Correct three claims. The slot 45 divergence is a skip rather than an
ordering problem: v1.5.4 is the first 1.5.x stamped targetVersion 46, and
run-migrations.sh loops seq CURRENT (TARGET - 1), so a cluster at 46 runs
46..53 on the way to 1.6 and never executes 1.6's own slot 45. Its chart-side
half was missing too, and it is not redundant -- a fresh v1.5.4 install is
stamped 46 having never run any slot, so only the chart can reach it. The
S3 checksum bullet named a barman-cloud plugin path that does not exist on
this branch.
The audit re-run warning names v1.6.0, not earlier releases. The script does
not exist at v1.5.2; v1.5.4 is the first 1.5.x to carry it and carries the
fail-closed version. v1.6.0 shipped the copy that silenced every kubectl
failure, so a clean table from it is not evidence.

Merge the AI-generated v1.5.0 changelog with a fuller pass:
- Add an "Upgrade Notes and Required Actions" section (K8s 1.33+, removal
of upgrade.force, GPU permittedHostDevices ownership, MetalLB FRR-K8s /
HTTPS metrics, automatic TLS on externally-published services).
- Expand "Platform Components" with per-component upstream highlights and
CVE references (Flux v2.8 CVE-2026-23990, MetalLB v0.16 CVE-2025-22874),
plus the new frr-k8s subchart and kuberture package.
- Scope the storageClass-immutability entry (#2639) to UI-only enforcement,
with apiserver enforcement tracked in #2657.
- Broaden Development/Testing/CI coverage and add the v1.4.x website docs
backports (#565, #566, #567, #580).
- Correct the loop-device LVM-filter attribution to talm#215 (the prior
ansible-cozystack#51 reference was a dependency bump, not this change).

Adds the missing entry for #2649 (OpenSearch wired into PaaS bundle, plus
StorageClass dropdown override for the legacy 1.3 openapi-ui dashboard),
corrects six website-PR author attributions against gh pr view, picks up
two website docs PRs merged just before the v1.3.4 cut (cozystack/website#536
and #538), updates the contributors list, and refreshes the date to today.

The auto-generated changelog only listed #2459/#2467 (velero-configmap
Role move). Five additional PRs were backported and merged into
release-1.3 between then and the v1.3.1 tag (2026-04-28):
- #2471/#2524 - fix(api): IDOR in TenantNamespace Get/Watch
- #2496/#2505 - feat(linstor): linstor-csi v1.10.6 (Protocol-C dual-attach)
- #2462/#2511 - fix(etcd): remove destructive post-upgrade hook
- #2421/#2491 - fix(kamaji): memory limits + startup probe
- #2498/#2518 - build(linstor): wire linstor-gui into root build target
Update the release date to match the actual tag (2026-04-28), rewrite
the intro paragraph, and add @kvaps to contributors.

The AI-generated v1.3.1 changelog (#2480) was generated from
git log v1.3.0..main rather than git log v1.3.0..v1.3.1, because
the workflow checked out main while the v1.3.1 tag points to
release-1.3. As a result the changelog included:
- 8 PRs that were merged to main but never shipped in v1.3.1
- 6 backport PRs that were merged to release-1.3 *after* v1.3.1
was tagged
- Both originals and their backports as separate duplicate entries
- A 2024 PR (#435) that has nothing to do with this range
- Generic "Documentation updates" placeholders for website entries
- Title duplicated as both the bold label and the description
(`* **fix(...): X**: fix(...): X (...)`)
- The cozystack-ci bot listed as a human contributor
The actual v1.3.1 release range (v1.3.0..v1.3.1) contains exactly
one user-facing change:
41bcb0be [Backport release-1.3] fix(backups): move
velero-configmap Role to velero chart (#2467)
which is the backport of #2459 (myasnikovdaniil) shipped via
#2467 (IvanHunters). This commit replaces the contents of
docs/changelogs/v1.3.1.md with that one entry, the matching
two-person contributors list, and the standard footer.
The workflow + docs fixes that prevent this regression for future
patch releases will land in a separate PR against main.

Post-release cleanup of docs/changelogs/v1.3.0.md so the notes match
what users actually experience in the released v1.3.0:
- Rewrite the postgres major-features entry so author (myasnikovdaniil),
PR (#2369), and description all match the 17.7-standard-trixie pin +
migration-37 imageName rewrite that actually shipped. The previous
entry credited #2304 (superseded spec.version=v17 backfill approach).
- Remove the duplicate #2364 postgres bug-fix entry; the same work is
now folded into the single major-features entry above, with backport
references to #2309 (v1.2.1) and #2364 (v1.2.2).
- Remove the [linstor-gui] Restrict to cozystack-cluster-admin group
security entry. The vulnerable state never shipped in a tagged
release, so there is nothing user-facing to announce; the restriction
is already described in the linstor-gui Feature Highlights section
as part of the feature's day-one behavior.

CNPG operator in v1.2.0 updates default PostgreSQL image to v18
and cannot migrate from the previous major version automatically,
causing PostgreSQL clusters to fail after upgrade.
