Jaya Krishna Namburu 89979ebb33 fix: default values of transitions is tuple which needs to be reset (#3303 )

## Description

Fixes the issue with transitions that is leaving a `tuple` default value
on reset.

## Steps for reproduction

Please refer to #3302  for the steps to reproduce.
